During an attack when I'm waiting for my medication to kick in, I sit on the floor of the shower and let hot water beat on my head. Im not sure if its the steam that helps or the hot water. In amy case its the one treatment that has consistently helped. Usually the meds have worked for a couple of weeks to a few months for me then its like I become immune to them. The hot shower however seems to lessen the length and severity of the beast.
