As a 21 year episodic CH suferer I'm sory to hear about your headaches. You will find a lot of help here. I use Imitrex as suggested in the Imitrex trick on the left margin. Taking 2mg at a time works almost as fast as taking the full 6mg and you can take it 6 times a day. I also use Amerge for the first time this year. It does not stop a CH attack but it does prevent them from returning for about 6 hrs. This allows me to function during the day and get some rest at night. I take 2 a day. I'm also on Depakote 250mg once a day. I must say that this combination has not stopped my cycle but has reduced the intensity to the point that I can function. Who knows how it will work next year.
