During a CH I can't think of anything except the pain. Wouldn't be able to perform during a cluster. On the other hand, I can often abort a CH by going for a very, very brisk walk at the first sign, and I mean the very first sign. I walk as fast as I can for about 10 minutes and the pain drains away, feeling like water going down a drain. When I get one in the middle of the night, it's not possible to walk it off as it's too late after getting dressed.
