Dear Dave,
This has alway`s been a concern of mine. My children now 14 an 8. Understand when mom has her CH attack`s to walk lightly and stay on the other side of the room. I have alway`s worried about passing this on to my children.
Let me tell you something someone told me on the board when I thought my son might have CH.
"Linda your son has the best mother in the world you will do right by your child. You will not let the doctor`s push you like they did when you was trying to get help from a doctor."
They where right. See I`ve walked this path so many time there or groves in it. A parent that has CH biggest fear is passing down to their own. I demanded every test ran on him. All came back negative. I only had the best for my son. I was not going to let him suffer the way I do.
I was lucky in away he get`s migraine`s. Which we have controled with med`s. I dont mean to sound flipped. Believe me when your child hurt`s you hurt. Finding out he had migraine`s in a wierd way was a relief for me.
Down the road he could get CH. If so I will know what to. I will demand he will not live in pain unlike me.
Dave we draw strength from are children more than we realize. Please dont worry about your child getting these. Yes I know easier said than done. In the back of all are mind`s we will worry about it being passed to are children. So far the fact say it`s not inheritated. Hold on to that hun.
I hope I helped in some way.
hug`s to you Linda B
