Are we starting to be (too) proud of belonging to a special type of "handicapped persons"? It may well be that the feeling of being "different" gives us sometimes the strenght we need to go through the black holes in our lives. And of course also my experience (of more than 30 years as a sufferer) shows that you never get the feeling of really being understood when you have to deal with a "non-CH person". On the other hand: If only one of the many misdiagnosed sufferers is discouraged to join our community - and these are exactly the ones who needs us the most - we made a terrible mistake.
