Wow! That sounds like a real bear. I'm trying different ways of using the cold air. Combining it with O2 seems to work sometimes, but last night it didn't, so I took off the mask and just used the a/c. That worked by itself better without the O2.
But the day before it seemed to work better with both. It's so hard to get a fix on what's best. And unfortunately, what works best sometimes changes...Part of the trouble last night might have been that I expected it to work too fast and started getting panicky when it didn't.
But the study results I read for breathing 42 degree air showed it worked about as fast as O2. So I may have been lucky that it worked so quickly the first few times I used it. I know that when I use the O2 it sometimes works right away, sometimes after 10 or even 20 minutes, so I need to be more patient with the cold air.
After all, every time I've used it so far, it has worked!!! But I've only been using it for a few days, and oxygen never caught ALL my headaches.
Thanks for the feedback, keep up the fight. Also, after last night I'm not sure how important keeping eyes open or breathing through nose is. Could someone try it various ways to see if one way is better. I think now that by concentrating on opening my eyes or the way I was breathing I may have just been occupying my mind long enough for it work. Also, it seems that the more panicked my mood is, the longer it takes either the O2 or the cold air to work. Who knows?
