Yeah, I've tried about anything, and no the banana peel didn't work, but the fruitflies loved me for the day. My husband swore it worked in Venezuela, but it sure didn't it Texas. The magnets didn't hurt, but I don't really know if they helped, they did give me something to do (I used the ones off the fridge and stuffed them under a headband.) The TENS machine DID stop the pain for three days. Then we had to take the pads off and put on new ones. Never did get them in the same place and it wouldn't stop the pain after that. But three nights of sleep helped.
Yesterday I started Week #5 of Topamax and haven't had a headache in over 2 weeks and this is a new record, so I'm keeping every bone in my body crossed that there is finally something that is working (at least for a while - hell, I need a break!). No, I don't even dare to think that word that starts with a "c" and rhymes with pure, but right now I'm happy with two plus weeks of "NO PAIN! and wish the same for all.
Got to get back to my politicking now. Ya'll have a good weekend. And for goodness sakes don't fuss - I've got a feud going on in my hometown right now and don't have time to referee, so ya'll play nice till I get out of this hot water I'm in now. I just wrote one of my "editorials" in the paper and now the whole town is in an uproar and taking sides in the fight between me and the city manager. I thought it was funny, she didn't. Oh well..... stay tuned.
