Got a tad curious regarding magnet therapy (ok, sorry, I may be opening a few wounds here) so I did a quick web search. The best balanced account I found was an article in the Seattle Times, you can read at this address: http://www.seattletimes.com/news/health-science/html98/magn_110898.html
It would seem that the jury is still out as regards magnets. I tried them five years ago, they seemed to work for a spell, but no. I was just going through a quiet patch with the CH. Not a very scientific trial I admit, I didn't place the magnets on the main pain areas, I just wore a necklace type thing made of a series of magnets. It didn't cost me much; heck I've spent far far more over the years on all kinds of useless prescription drugs! Have a read of the above Seattle Times Article see what you think.
Oh, anyone tried those TENS machines (I think that's what they are called) that give you little pulses of electricity that are supposed to block the pain? (Anecdotal evidence accepted)
