I think the responses I've just read to your post
are extremely diplomatic and articulate.
I think your psychiatrist is terribly misinformed.
I'm actually outraged at the incorrrect information
he is giving you. By the way, "acute headache" and
"cluster headache" are not necessarily the same
thing--a cluster headache is acute, but the
reverse may or may not be true.
I have never, in the 35 years of having cluster
headaches, been able to make a connection to the
emotional content of my life. Nor did I have
an abusive childhood.
