SUPER JOB Michelle
guess I was using "biofeedback" carelessly - mainly because everytime I hear the term used it seems to have a different definition (words only mean the same thing to people if we're all using the same dictionary), and because I was coming off on a lead post which was talking about it
What you describe as Cognitive Restructuring is exactly what I find works VERY well -
didn't have the right term for it because I had kinda cooked it up on my own - which is only to say that somehow I got there without reading about it somewhere first
to some extent, maybe I DO use "biofeedback" as well - because my techniques involves trying to completely relax & let the situation be whatever it is, then going from there into very strenuous mental diversion & refocus exercises
(way overly simplified, but good enough for discussion)
Please Michelle -
expand on the Cog. Restructure theme.......
