Welcome to the board. I hope it provides you with as much support and encouragement, as it did for me.
There is a long history of headaches in my family, on my mother's side, including, my grandmother, mother, aunt, uncle and a cousin. I'm not sure if these headaches were migraine or CHs, but I know that my aunt often took shots for hers and my cousin has ended up in the hospital many times and was on different preventive meds.
Even though migraines and clusters are different, who's to say that what some of us get aren't a variant of both, which is what I probably have.
I can trace getting regular headaches, even as a child remembering that I got one every Monday nite without fail. I think that over the years they have evolved and changed to the headbangers we all call "Clusters".
I agree with your stance on suicide and as you well know, it's impact is very far reaching and stays with the family for years.
