Carl,
I myself know exactly where you are coming from but I must say to you that you are not alone. Carl I myself have been very sick not only with
CH but with this horrible infection in my brain and at times I feel like I am the only one in the world who is suffering but then I sit back and really think about what my suffering is all about. This is just another test and trial but I do know that as long as I have the Lord in my heart I am never alone. Carl I can be there for you as a friend when ever you feel that you are alone but on those days when you feel your worse I suggest you think about God's love for you.
God will always be there for you in the morning, afternoon and night so you are never really alone. When you feel your worse the Lord can lift up your spirts and let you know that everything will be ok. I really haven't posted much lately due to my illness but I have found a few people who don't mind listening to me whine. I can assure you that I am a person who will listen to you I PROMISE YOU I can be a friend in need to a friend indeed. Carl we live in a world where there will always be differences and many people whill have different views but for you to leave the board truly concerns me because I do care about you. Please Carl email me and maybe we can talk for a little while, I do understand. I hope to hear from you soon. Also, please remember this poem below. God bless you.
Footprints
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
