My mom is not going to like this post! I am sorry but people need to know !
A week ago tonight mom (Elaine) tried to kill herself. She tore the phone lines out of the wall so we could not get on the computer and let anyone know. She then got in her car and drove a hundred miles to a loved ones grave. There she wrote three letter, one to us her family one to Drummer and his wife and one to DJs message board. I no longer have that letter but in it it said that everyone on this board meant so much to her, she asked that you all pull together as one, she asked that you forgive her. She said she loved you all. She said you were the best friends she ever had.
My mom layed there in the car and we were the last thing on her mind before she passed out. Now how can anyone not see how important this board is. Its the last thoughts of a dieing person. Mom did not die,she was found and taken to the hospital just in time another hour and she would have died.
I am posting this hoping that before you make fun of a post with Suicide thoughts in it, think twice. What if you woke up to a post that said so and so killed him or herself. I would not want to know that I posted somthing bad to their post.
There is nothing funny about Suicide I almost lost my mom and thats not funny.
Mom did not post that night. A while back mom posted for help and she recieved a email saying she was depressing and pulling the board down. I don't think mom has asked for help on the board again. If anyone ask her how she is she will say fine! Out of fear of depressing someone. Thats what I think. (My opinion mom!)
Please let people post their feeling funny, sad, their pain their trouble with medication, what ever it might be. Don't make fun of their feelings.
Mom is doing better and she did not do this because of any hurt feeling on the board. She is chronic with clusters and has cancer and her marriage has failed. It was more then she could stand.
Don't forget Suicide is not to be taken lightly and never make fun of someone whith those thought. Sorry but seeing the word Suicide on the board and how people made fun just made me think of that night. I want to thank the people who icq me and email me through a long night. Mom never give up I need you!
