I'd like to thank everyone who offered their support and advise for my mother over the past 24 hours.
I've put in over 6 hours since last night reading and taking notes to show my mother. When I showed
her the printouts of some of the info I've found and other peoples stories, she very nearly cried. I
could kick myself for not thinking to use the internet sooner for info about cluster headaches. Local
libraries are a joke, and the info to be found from most other sources is primarily about migraines and
tension headaches. She was just flabbergasted that there were really truly other people out there who are
going thru the same misery and pain! She told me today that she honestly believed she was the ONLY ONE
because even when she was being sent around to different doctors for tests, etc., she never once met
another person suffering from cluster headaches!
I don't know how long you have had this site, but for people like my mother and myself, you are a Godsend.
Now, finally, she has some hope - finally HOPE! - that, armed with the info I can get for her with the help
of this site, she will be treated as an individual with a mind-blowing problem instead of a pitiful nutcase.
The change in my mother when I brought her the material this morning was unbelievable... she read the piece
from your homepage about the man waking at night with the headache and hitting his head and just kept saying
that that is EXACTLY what it's like - as near as she could ever come to putting it into words. She knows that
she is going to continue to get the headaches, but she's so hopeful now! She must have called me 5 times
tonight to ask if I had gotten anymore info for her to take to the doctor later this week.
Thank you, again and again... you don't know what a relief it is to see a spark of my mother
back in her tired eyes. Well, I guess you do ;')

To Anyone that has any info on drugs, I've gone back and back and back thru the messages... if you feel like
dropping me an email with info about what's worked for you, or even an encouraging word or 2 for my mom, my
