Drinking with clusters? Are you nuts? Why
don't you just go and mix a couple of tbs. of
MSG in with the alcohol. That should make you
feel really great. My husband has not been able
to touch a drop of alcohol in over 6 years be-
cause of chronic clusters. He used to be able
to drink in between cycles. Ah, yes! The good
old days when there were cycles not pain each
and every f---ing day. Sorry, I'm feeling a little
down myself right now even though I am not the
primary sufferer. As far as switching sides, I
haven't ever had a straight answer from any
doctor or neurologist about that. The bottom
line is, they don't know squat. The one thing I
do know is that you would not be a good can-
didate for trigeminal surgery if you have headaches on both sides. Sorry for the long-
windedness, had to vent a little.
