Yes, Amanda, there most certainly is a point in there and a very good one. Michael's posts tend to be very negative and intense, and lightening up might well do him some good. I applaud your courage for stating your opinion.
And, being the caring, loving person I've come to know you are, you did so and then immediately followed up by saying that this is as much Michael's board as yours, mine or anyone else's. You are indeed a very classy lady.
Michael, do you always run from opinions which differ from yours? Do you stay only when everyone agrees not only with your points but with your style of expressing them? If so, you have my empathy---you're missing out on one of the most interesting aspects of human interaction-the exposure to and challenge of different perspectives.
