Sounds like some maintenance is in order. Like with other structures, the support for it is often taken for granted, not intentionally however. After enough use and fatigue, the support will fail, and with it, everything that it is supporting. If it were a bridge that cars and trucks use to get across the bay, many lives are lost due to lack of maintenance of the support. So they have people who are responsible to look after and maintain the support. In your case, you have to be the inspector and are saying in your post "things need attention". It seems to me from what you have written, that you have helped many others with whatever they needed support for. If you were to ask them for support back, you would be suprised how many of them would not hesitate at the chance to help someone who helped them out. Ask the kids, ask neighbors, ask friends, ask congregation. I dont think anybody would disagree that you need some help and space. Ask, or risk losing it all. All you have to do is ASK, and you SHALL receive. I hope things work out for you, let us know and keep in touch!
