Is the Kip scale what you mean when you say #10? I'm trying to figure out just how bad mine are and I'd like some information on the scale and how they're rated.
One thing I sometimes think when I'm in the middle of one is that if I could just fall asleep, maybe I could sleep through it. Any chance sleeping pills would work? Last night I took a St. John's Wort pill before the light went off and - success!- woke up the next morning pain free. Or is that just a fluke? Sometimes, my headaches skip a night.
I went to my doctor last night and she says I have some aspects of CH, but not all - whatever that means. All I know is I can appreciate many of the comments you all talk about regarding what you feel, although fortunately mine don't seem to be quite as bad. She is going to send me to a neurologist though.
One more thing - just before the headaches started, my right eye started to twitch. The eyelid would more vertically back and forth. It was real neat to watch, but very disconcerting. The right side is where my headache pain is. The doctor says is's completely unrelated. Thoughts, anyone?
Thanks,
Tracey
