Anne...I also had this wonderful "Reduction" several years ago. One of the best things I ever did as far as being more comfortable both mentally and physically.
....unfortunately, my headaches started several years after the surgery, so no relation there for me.
I don't know if the surgery will help with the CH's (I hope it does) but it will help and eliminate the back and shoulder pain!!
