I am 29 and have been having CHs for about 10 yrs. When I was a child, however, I would get the same "behind my eye headaches" as I would call them as far back as 8 or 9 years old. When i was young they never came with any regularity that I can remember and they never happened at night. I do seem to remember getting them after accidently falling asleep after dinner but not at regular sleeping hours. These attacks seemed to be completly at random and at no time when I was young did I ever have a cycle. I assumed that was a normal headache that everyone else got, as did my parents, and nothing ever became of it. I don't recall any attacks between about 12 till I started having cycles at 19. Right now my cycles last about 5 to 7 weeks with only 1 attack per day(1 hour after sleep). Until one week ago I still thought I was the only person who had to contend with these. When I found this site and read other people's identical accounts of pain I was really surprised that I could find so many I could identify with. I look forward to reading your posts and meeting some of you next year in Vegas.
