I got one clue that "my headaches" were worse than normal headaches over the years. Some friends and I were talking about hangovers, and how horrible the headaches are. I mentioned to their disbelief that I had never gotten a hangover headache. A year or two passed, and I was still wondering why I had never gotten one of these so-called horrible hangover headaches. Then one day, after a night of excessive drinking, I did notice a very slight pain-like sensation in the muscles in my head. I wouldn't even call it pain, compared to a CH. I thought, "this is the dreadful hangover-headache that I have heard about all of these years?"
Same thing happened with "ice-cream headaches". Could never figure out what the hell everybody was talking about. THAT was PAIN?
Butterflies compared to CH!
