Aw, Jen, I feel for ya, girl. Been there, done that. Ok, here's what I would do. I think we need to deal with the sleep deprivation first, that clouds all the other issues and makes everything worse.
Dramamine taken before bed promotes sleep for most people. Mike is 155 pounds and takes 3 before bed. It won't do anything for CH pain at all but it just might prevent him from getting an attack in the night and therefore give him some much needed rest. He needs it. Just go buy him some, pour him a glass of water, hand him the pills and say, "Take it."
I really wish he would try the water treatment - it doesn't work for everyone but it HAS had pretty amazing results for others. Mike was the same way when I told him about it, thinking how ridiculous it sounds, but he was also at the peak of his worst cluster cycle ever and was desperate for relief. It didn't do a thing for him the first day, but by the second day it was as if the clouds cleared and the sun came out for him. He has never been one to try new things but now he is a religious believer in this treatment.
You're right, Bryan does need to be able to get access to this site or at least this info - can you print him out some posts? Even if you just print the first page of the website....that's the one that got Mike's attention. I remember bringing him home LOADS of stuff I printed and he did finally take the time to go through it and was amazed to find he was not alone and that there WAS hope.
One thing you've got to realize though, Jen, is that you can only do so much. Bryan has to let you help him and try to help himself too. The biggest favour you can do for Bryan is to bring him information on how to find relief. He's the one that has to take that step to accept the help that's available to him. You can lead a horse to water water water.....
Hang in there, kiddo - you know where to find me.
Hug
