Hi, I'm new on this message board. I just found out that I've been having cluster headaches for the last 16 to 18 years! I had several "specialists" tell me that they were sinus headaches. Fourtunatly? Actifed seems to help with mine, but I suffer from a reaction to the actifed for most of the following day, so it's a trade-off. An upset stomach and groggy head for a day always wins out over the headache though! I stumbled across this site last Friday, and asked the nurolegist that I was seeing yesterday for tremors about my symtoms. This Doctor finally listened to me and agreed that it was cluster headache.
Anyway, he prescribed Propranolol for my tremors and said that it might help the cluster headaches too. Has anyone had any experience with this drug?
