Hoping you do stick around Derek! I hope I haven't put you off.
As my wife says, I am often too loud and speak too quickly. My
philosophy concerning the internet is not to take anything personally.
I know with a close knit group like on this forum, that is a bit
difficult. There are a wide variety of folks here. Some are from
the old school internet where "flaming" is a sort of game. Purposely
attempting to piss people off is a challenge. Many are just joking
around when doing this, others are serious, still others just don't
care one way or the other. Hard to tell, but I would venture to guess
that this site is infiltrated by non-sufferers (a whole nother topic).
I personally avoid any kind of put downs. I don't think it's cool.
Any argument or objections I have I try to voice conciderately. Another
point, some of us are so medicated or zonked with constant pain that
we really don't have a clue as to what we speak of and are upset about
from one day to another - thus inconcideration may become prevalent. My
note concerning "don't feed the bears" in earlier post refers to ignoring
those who are overly profane, inflamatory, rude, off topic, or whatever.
I don't know if I'll be checking in much longer as it seems the beast
has gone into hiding for now - thank the mighty Lord! - Best wishes for
