Nope. Yes, alcohol is a vasodilator, but the 'best' (if that term can be used outside of Goadsby's work) research to date indicates that vascular changed occur in us only AFTER the onset of pain. (Check out the Medical Info page here). CH is NOT CAUSED by vascular irregularites--they are a subsequent event. (Sorry for preaching, but the vascular thing is a pet peeve of mine)
But alcohol (and yes, I am a user) affects the body and particularly the brain in tons of ways, many of which are not really understood. And one of those ways is, a virtually 100% guaran-dammed-teed demon if you consume during a cycle. I say virtually only in the interest of being fair, since I have no statistical data, but I've never seen a post here that say, Heck yeah, I can drink like a fish during a cycle and no probs!
