I'm afraid I have to disagree, in part, Barb. According to the survey, on 41% 'don't smoke'. And some of them may have formerly smoked. So, at least 59% of us do smoke, vs. 29% for the US adult pop. Int'l responses to the survey would probably push our numbers up, but not 30 pts.
On the other hand, 60% either don't drink or drink only on spec. occasions. I'm not sure of the %s for the whole pop, but that does seem high to me. Again, though, how many of us have sworn off alcohol because of CH? I'm not a statistician, but I'll bet we have someone here who could help design a more extensive survey, and perhaps we could have it for the convention, thereby ensuring that the responses aren't from cybergeeks who have nothing better to do than mess with important matters.
