Drummer-
Mine too! Right now I rent tanks from Linde (central Oklahoma.)
The "fill-label" says "Lampkin Welding Supply."
Prices on personally owned equipment:
Regulator: an older model, all steel, with actual
gauges instead of captive-ball indicators. Tanks to
4000 PSI, flow to 15L/M-----$40
E'cylinder, aluminum-----$95
Cart: $55 (much cheaper to adapt a WalMart luggage
cart to a tank cart.)
Tank exchange (empty for full-Linde) $10
Haven't priced tank fills at another welding shop.
Will do that today, time permitting.
Neither have "we" discussed re-hydrating the O2 we
huff. Hospitals bubble the gas through water before
delivery, but that's usually for patients who will
be on O2 for several hours or days. I haven't noticed
appreciable drying of my nasal/oral mucosa during
the few minutes per day that I use O2, but I suppose
it could become a problem.
