Jeff
I too have had sinus surgery. It is part of the profile of cluster headaches to affect your sinus. I beleive they are not related. For many years I did not know my headaches were clusters. I always thought they were sinus headaches.
Watch your medicine intake. I have tried many things, depakote, lorazapam and even psycological counseling.
This is what I do. I always have pain medication on my. I mean, it is always in my pocket. Sometimes I go months without a headache and I still carry the medication. Do you get aura when a headache is about to start? If I can take a vicodin, lortab or vicoprofen during aura, the headache will last a very short time (30 minutes to an hour)
Be careful about what doctors tell you. You know what is best.
I have a cluster headache now. I took two vicodin, the pain has somewhat subsided but I am unable and afraid to go to sleep.
