I went for a ct of the brain and sinus x-ray on saturday! It was 6:00 in the evening and I had one of the worse headaches ever! My chiro sent me for the tests, I still can't find a primary who will work with me and send me to a neuro.
I have not been oficially diagnosed with ch.
About a week ago, my first post, I explained my situation and symptoms. Mostly Left temple and eye pain, cheeckbone swells and feels numb.
My question is this, for 6mnths now I have had this headache (on and off again, but I ALWAYS have a dull achy pain on my left side). Could this be my first episode? Would it last that long? Would the headaches be so constatn?I am waiting for relief, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere is site! I have NEVER had headaches before in my life! I am 26.
I think the headaches are getting worse. I haven't missed work yet, but Friday it was very difficult!!! I almose went in the bathroom to hide for a while.
Just an FYI...considering a link between allergies and ch. I have always had problems with my sinuses. I am allergic to ragweed, mites, molds and airborne bacterias (allergy testing about 3 yrs ago) medication never helped. It was irritating, but NOTHING like what I have experienced over the past 6 mnths. My headaches now are far worse and doesn't even compare to a sinus headache. My allergy problem actually went away for the last 2 yrs after I moved into my condo and out of my mothers house.
My chiro who is the only one helping me now, so I'll take any advice, suggested drinking coffe or soda at the on-set of a bad headache. GREAT! I don't drink coffee or soda, and I thought limiting caffeine was a good thing. Like I said, I'll try anything!
Thanks for listening.
