In all of my 25 years I have never had a headache UNTIL about 6 mnths ago. I was having a MINOR problem, and my gyno recomended switching my birth control pill which I had been on for 5 yrs. 2 weeks after taking the new pill, I started experiencing terrible headaches. I assumed it was the pill, and continued for another 2 months. After realizing that this was not going to work, I switched back to my intitial pill and I am still having headaches over the last 4 months. I was married this year on May 7. On my wedding day and through my honeymoon, I was taking tylenol every 4 hours to try and control the pain. Yes, I have gone to my primary (who gave me pain killers wich I am scared to take. I have gone to an opthlomoloist and a chiro (no relief yet) I am becomming very depresed!
I am not even sure IF I have cluster headaches. I usually have headaches for about 7 days straight with a day or 2 relief. The headaches are on my left side only and get better and worse throughout the day, but I always have a nagging pain in the my left temple.
Sometimes the sharp pain gets so bad, I can't help but cry,which only makes it worse. Also, under my left eye the top of my cheek actually hurts and swells?
I would appreciate any information anyone could provide me.
