I don't think that post was meant to offend you. I think it was a comment on what, in general, the Board is evolving to. I think a lot of us "old-timers" are getting VERY frustrated with all the fighting and misdirection of purpose here. It's unfortunate you happened to be in the line of fire but you're a regular, you can remember when the Board was a friendly place to visit. You can remember how much love and support we all got from our visits. You can remember when we would go weeks, no months, without any harsh words. We have so many newcomers now and so many new topics, it's kind of like a roller coaster at times and people all of a sudden feel they have the right to make rules and attack innocent posters who are already going through their own private tortures.
Emotions run high for all involved with CH, that is an inescapable side effect. But it doesn't have to be terminal. I don't have to remind you how loved you are here, Carl. You already know that. I don't have to remind you that you have been giving the gift of writing talent. You already know that, too. I don't have to remind you that you were going to write us a screenplay. YOU could be the guy to get us our recognition. Now, if you're planning on giving up, that hope is gone. I know you're going through hell and I wish I could help. But I can't. I can only offer you support, understanding. Please don't do anything stupid Carl. You're not done here yet.
