I've been told middle age is when you go to bed feeling good and wake up hurt. I'm definately middle age. I'm just accepting that I can't do all the things I used to do (this will be real evident next month when I attempt a 43 mile backpacking trip culminating in Mt. Whitney, 14,454 feet high). I've already told my wife this is the last packing trip. She agrees. From here on it's airplanes and hotels. It's not just physical either. I'm looking forward to being senile. No one will think it's strange when I walk around the neighborhood in my boxes plus you get to meet new people every day.
