My wife is suffering greatly with CH. It has gotten to the point that 100 mg of Demerol IV is not even stopping the pain. We went to a doctor today, who gave her a nerve block, but it only worked for about 3-5 hours, and only in selected areas. Does anyone have any experience with nerve blocks, and what the doctor should use to get them to last longer? She had a nerve block done last year in another country, and it lasted 2 1/2 days. That beats the heck out of a few hours, but we have no way of contacting that doctor and asking him what he used. Thanks
