My CH's started about 3 years ago. Lasted for a few months then went into remission with only a few small ones once in a great while (I thought, although from your post, I am going to go back and rethink that period of time)Only to have returned last week like a thunderstorm.
Someone who witnessed me during my first set of "episodes" asked me if it was stress induced. I quickly responded with a no, because I think I deal with stress pretty well too. My job is a daily bundle of one kind of stress or another (isn't everyone's to some degree?) and I have not only learned how to do the job right, but to react very energized to the stress when it comes. Through talking with a personal coach of mine, I have come to the knowledge that I suffer from what we call a "Superman Complex". Trying to be everything to everyone; whether at home or in the workplace. My point here is, (sorry if I am not getting to it right away...suffering this morning) I don't know how much is actual STRESS but perhaps at the times I bite off much more than I can really chew. Trying too hard to juggle too many balls at the same time. I know that there are many different stresses, but in looking back when these first started, I was doing exactly the same thing mentally. Maybe this helps, maybe it doesn't; but I thought I would respond with what is at least my own version.
You people are the BEST. I don't know what I would have done this time around had I not found you folks and this board. I think you all need to realize the lives you help and the lives I am sure you SAVE. May God bless every one of you, and may we all find the PEACE that we miss.
