Hello,
I am a 31 year female who had never had a history of headaches in the past that a couple of Advil would not cure.
On April 20, 1999 at approximately 10:00 pm I started getting a very painful headache behind my right eye. I took a couple of Advil and thought I would wake up in bliss the next morning at 5:30 to go to work. WRONG!!!!!
Since then the pain has changed in shape, form, and severity for 6 weeks. At one point my head hurt so bad I couldn't even place it on the pillow. That has for some reason passed. I also experience pressure behind my face.
Been to family doctor, ER and neurologist, whom all at first suggested a sinus infection. (I knew this was not sinus). I have had a CAT scan of the brain as well as of the sinuses which were normal. I have even had an MRI which was normal. I did go three days with mild pain only to be haunted once again in shear agony. I just had a spinal tap and then a blood patch for the spinal headache afterwards.
Can cluster headache change in shape and form?
I live in Michigan and would love to know where to go for headache help. This affecting my life at work as well as at home.
I would appreciate some advice.
