I just got my first pair of reading glasses at 45.
Which is the cause and which is the effect? Cluster
pain is in the area of the optic nerve.. but on that dental note:
I have wondered whether dental procedures have damgaged
one of the trigeminal nerves or it's branches. A military
dentist once stuck his needle full of freezing right into the nerve
at the jaw hinge on my (future) pain side while he was
preparing to cut my wisdom tooth into 4 pieces for
extraction. There was no time needed for the freezing
to take effect, it was immediate and sudden. Did he
pierce the sheath that covers the nerve? Would it matter if he did?
This incident happened when i was 19 and clusters didn;t occur until
about 10 years later. Any opinions out there?
