Hi Bob,
I only met other clusterheads in real life once, some weeks ago on a party. There where three of us, one guy I knew from a distance, one girl I knew for a long time, but she never wanted to talk about het headaches, thought and was told by her doc it was migraine, her mother heard my story some time ago and told her doc who finaly recognised her beeing a clusterhead. I'm not ashamed to tell you that we did a lot of crying in the kitchen. We talked for hours, how do you cope, how do you handle sleepless nights, does your family support you, does your doc understands your problems, what meds are you on and so on. I have regular contact with them, which gives me a way to vent my fears and problems with people who understand what I'm going through, other then my wife. I shared my O2 with this girl, since her doc would not prescribe it.
Except for the latter, this is excatly what I experience here on this site. It helps me to read about other people's experiences with this demon between their ears, and I'm sure most visitors, regular or not, think the same.
So, in answer to your question: there is a lot of value in posting *all* your stories, depressing or not. It's a lot better to spit the poisson here then to swallow it.
Wishing you painfree days, Rob.
