We are not qualified to diagnose, but I would suggest that anyone with pain as frequent and severe as yours should see a neurologist. Did you get any results from the CT scan yet?
It will not show whether a person has CH. It might show whether there is some problem that is causing pain similar to CH.
No OTC medication eases my CH.There is no way I could lie down during an attack.
But we are all different. You need a really expert medical opinion. There are medications that can help relieve head pain which work better than ibuproben and without its side effects. Too much of any kind of medication is bad for you as you probably know.
