Mike is the same way, Carl. He cannot smoke during an attack but it is always a signal to me that the Beast has finally released his grip on him when he does light up. It's always a relief to see him be able to smoke again [Cancer Society, I know that's not a goal to strive for but....bite me, ok?].
Not that this helps you one iota but just so you know you're not alone.
Oh, and, the line comment? damn, I must be getting old....didn't even think of that when I typed it. Good one!! But hey, I'm still only 25 (in U.S. funds, that is).
