We all have the same pain whether it be in episodic or chronic form.
The differences in our individual make ups dictate where we fit in.
For 20 yrs I thought I was the only one.
Each series of attacks led me to believe that I was causing them by my lifestyle and the food i ate.
After awhile I concluded that they were going to happen no matter what I did.
I then started to focus on how I can deal with what I used to call my headaches.
When I would tell my friends and family that I had one of my headaches, they knew.
Now there are so many with our headaches.
We all go through stress. Right along with the rest of the world. Not everybody gets these type of pain.
I believe we are born with cluster tendencies. What makes them come to life agains differs in our chemical make ups.
It is interesting in this format that we cannot see the poster's face and body language. This makes it difficult to tell if they are telling the truth or just putting us on.
I don't take responsibility to 'weed' them out. I am a firm believer in truth always being shown.
I absolutely agree with those who use their wits and intelligences to cope.
My boyfriend calls me the 'beast master'. He has seen how I can control the pain of my attacks.
To me attacks are the individual headache. Series is the word I use for the grouping they are placed in. Usually 2-3 mths for me.
As to your earlier question, there was a statement of Jr. High behavior. Can't remember if it was in a response or in original post. Don't want to check right now.
Anyway, who cares! We are a family here. We need to support all who come for understanding.
I have learned so much(except how to get those damned colored posts)from you all and plan on more.We will figure this shit out and rid us all of the most debilitating pain since natural childbirth.
Although I don't know what DJ is going to do then.
I'm sure there is more I wanted to respond to, will do later as my 4 yr old needs help building his Lego Town.
Let's all keep an open-mind.
I do
