I just started having the following Prednisone side effect: mild
muscle weakness in my legs, and maybe a bit in my arms.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you
advised to get off the drug by your doctor? My drug
book lists this as a mild adverse effect, and pain/
cramping as a severe side effect. Of course, I'll
discuss this with my doctor, but in the meantime, I'd
really appreciate any of your experiences or comments.
I'd hate to have to go off the Prednisone. Usually,
I would start a second regimen in a few days, which
would take me to the end of my cluster cycle. My two
regimens are: 5 20 mg pills for 2 days, then 4 for 2
days, etc., until 1 pill for 2 days; then a second
regimen of same.
How can my body "remember" that I took Prednisone 2 years
ago? I never had any side effect before, and it was
totally effective. Now, this effect, and I'm having
some mild to moderate headaches.
