I strongly agree that one should not take prednisone. I was prescribed it for 10 years for my cluster headaches and as a result it caused me to have a major clinical depression for 3 months and I now have substancial bone loss in my lower back. It helped control the headaches but I felt like I was churning inside and I was on only a 15 mg. daily dosage. It can be dangerous!
