There must have been a time when you believed that life will get better. Even if it was only a time when money was short or relationships were bad. There had to have been something you "believed" in or just believed that kept you going...looking toward the next minute, the next hour...the next day.
Now you feel like you are dying or want to die. The pain is inhumane! You don't have to believe in God again, you don't have to chant again. You just need to remember the feeling or the spirit of hope and try to catch it as it flits and flies by! That feeling, that hope, that spirit hasn't changed.....only your life has changed. Well, not only, but it is your life which has changed.
Try to look around you and see that this spirit or this hope is present in those who love and care for you and trust what they believe. Trust in "their" hope.
Try to find sustenance for the next second, the next minute, the next hour, and the next day. All days come from one day.
I am not a churchgoer but I do believe this. I talk about this in different ways with my CH baby, BobL.
I don't know if it helps him but he hasn't run away from me yet.
Love never goes away....even if the pain remains.
