Have tried singulair for their asthma. It hasn't worked for some and does work for others. Most asthma medications, if taken by someone without asthma, can cause bronchospasm or asthma attack.
Were you diagnosed with clusters or could they be due to anoxia from nightime sleep apnea. I would suggest to your doctor to run a sleep study on you and this would determine if you have oxygen desaturation at night and apnic episodes. There is treatment for this if it turns out to be so and if that is the cause of your cycles, then you will be cured??!!
