i have suffered with cluster headaches for over 20 years. i started getting them in high school but wasnt diagnosed until i was in my 20s. i can tell now when im in a cluster mode or when im at risk . its taken many years but i know now how to fight them. i would like to share this with anyone out there who suffers. avoid at all times msg, aspertame, and caffine.if you are able to tell when you could start getting the headaches avoid alcahol also if you smoke, smoke winstons or a cigarette with no presreatives.i have taken several different meds over the years nothing has worked. the meds always made things worse because of the side effects .the only thing that has helped is oxygen but i also read in a book about for years ago that adoctor in europe used cayenne ointment on some of his patients .almost all of them had instant relief and some of them had there headaches go away completly when they used the treatment.four years ago when i was halfway through a cluster episode i used the cayenne it did give me relief, but it also helped to keep me from having a full blown headache for the past 4 years.this may not work for everyone but it worked for me and when your head feels like someone has taken a drill to it and you feel like ending it all you will try just about anything.i did it worked i hope it helps someone out there whos suffering.cayenne herbal pain relieving ointment-is in a plastic jar it kind of reminds you of vicks.put a small amount on a q tip and put it into the nostril on the side your headaches occur try this it really works.
