Went to pick up my imitrex tablet prescription yesterday and was in for quite a shock. It appears that if I go over 20 tabs in month, the insurance won't cover it. Was told it was $314 to pick up my prescription. Told them to hold it and try running it thru today since it was the start of a new month. I was able to pick up the new script for the injections (5 vials), but have no idea what the limit on that will be. Has anyone had any luck fighting the insurance companies on this one. Really frustrating to finally find a doctor that will prescribe what I need and then find out I can't afford it.
