Dr. Neal Raskin, the renowned Cluster Headache Expert in the USA saw my brother as a patient and concluded that his cluster headache condition was so bad that the best thing for him would be to have an unfettered access to narcotic-based pain medications. He even gave my brother a note on his official stationary to that affect for other physicians to see and call him for a reference. My brother literally tried over 100 medications prior to this final resort. I can’t even tell you the number of times he spent weeks in various hospitals on morphine drips trying to break nightmarish cluster cycles.
Bulldog I don’t know who you are but you obviously never had headaches like he had. Your statement stuck a raw nerve with me but I’m restraining myself from telling you what I really want to do with and think of you.
Do yourself a big favor and learn the history of drug laws in America before you condemn others who could benefit from pain relief. Don’t blindly accept the Just Say No rhetoric out of your own ignorance as it is based on way too many lies over the years and an abundance of junk scientific testimony.
