Began taking Verapamil on 1/15/02, 180mg a day (not time release). Upped it to 360mg (one in the morning, one at night). Had a good afternoon yesterday with no noticable pressure or cluster "feeling." (I was thinking the Verap was kicking in then.) Got slammed with a beaut at 1:00am this morning. The Zomig finally worked after an hour. (Seeing some posts about being episodic and then turning chronic has me concerned. But then the lack of sleep always magnifies feelings like that.) Not seeing a neuro at the moment, can't afford to take the time off work for all of the blood tests, and an MRI a new neuro will most likely want, since my last neuro visit was in 98. I wish I could say, after 22+ years of being visited on and off by this demon, that I have lined up better methods to fight "it" off, but still feel like all I have to fight with is a "slingshot." Tried O2 once and didn't seem to work, too. Thanks for listening.
