...but I have been under the care of a Nurse Practitioner for six years. She knew nothing about clusters until she did extensive research when I became her patient. When I found this site, I printed out all the medical info and took it to her. Since she doesn't think she knows it all, I could help educate her about clusters. She telephoned neurologists to ask about different treatments for someone with heart disease. She talks to me in terms that even I can understand, often telling me to do this or that, or else. She practices tough love and care. If you can't talk to your doctor, try an NP. This one saved my life in 96 when she correctly diagnosed a heart problem that my previous doctor had said was indigestion.
