It's weird how the triptans work (or don't work). I've never had good luck with the Imitrex tab or the inhaler in the past. The Imitrex injection is wonderful. Can't afford it these days. I'm trying Verapamil for the current cycle I'm in and also using Zomig for the !@#$!@!! ones that sneak through. Yesterday at noon felt one coming on and took a Zomig and the beast died a quick death by never really showing itself. Also felt great for the rest of the day. Last night at 12:45am, was awakened with one and took another Zomig. It was a good hour before I felt the pain subside. Did Zomig not work for then? I don't know. I like to think the glass is half full for stuff like this. Still, compared to years past, an hour long CH is a short one for me. I've had them last 4 hours with shadow pain for another 2. Good luck. Gnawing is not allowed here! =)
